Climate Change and Water Conservation
Park Hyatt Saigon actively works to mitigate its environmental impact through targeted energy and water conservation initiatives. In our kitchens, we utilize energy-efficient equipment including LED lighting, salamanders, and ovens, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.
Across the hotel, we have installed certified energy-efficient appliances and systems to minimize electricity consumption. For water conservation, we implement practices such as reducing water usage during food preparation and cleaning, and we offer guests the "Conserve" program, allowing them to opt-in to reduce water and chemical usage during their stay.
Waste and Circularity
We embrace a zero-waste mindset throughout our operations, particularly in our culinary department, where we maximize the use of every ingredient—including trimmings—to minimize food waste. We utilize the Lumitics waste management system to track and control waste generation.
Single-use plastics are being systematically eliminated: takeaway packaging is made from sugarcane, coffee capsules are recycled, and guestrooms feature reusable water bottles. In-room amenities are packaged in eco-friendly materials, and digital compendiums accessed via QR codes replace printed materials.

At Park Hyatt Saigon, our culinary philosophy is rooted in Hyatt's global mantra: "Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served." We prioritize local, seasonal, and ethical sourcing to support Vietnamese farmers and reduce our carbon footprint.
A remarkable 95% of our vegetables, fruits, and herbs are sourced locally, alongside 39% of our seafood from MSC- or ASC-certified sustainable fisheries. We collaborate with local artisans to feature specialty products like cheese, chocolate, and nuts.
